We wrapped up the surfing season and went straight from wetsuits to construction gear. The whole winter was spent giving the café a total makeover – and we went all in.

2,500 tiles were laid, the floor was poured, and both the ice cream parlor, coffee bar, and fish and chips station were built from scratch. This meant many long nights in the bunker, sore backs, and more construction dust than salt water in our hair (at least for a while).

Fortunately, we were not alone. Our fantastic team of instructors threw themselves into the project with the same energy they bring to the water. A huge thank you goes to Marc, Catherine, Marie, Martin, Bjørn, and Steffen – without you, the café would never have been ready for the new season ❤️🌊
