In the summer of 2007 we tried windsurfing for the very first time. It was on our childhood island of Thurø, which is located in the middle of the South Funen archipelago. Ole's Uncle Per himself was a windsurfer back to the 80s and eventually had enough surfing equipment to supply the entire island. He quickly became our mentor in the sport and from that day on we used every opportunity to surf, talk about surfing, think about surfing and even dream of surfing. A brotherly friendship saw the light of day and a whole new world opened up to us. Windsurfing changed our lives and over the past 11 years has been a regular companion throughout our journey. That feeling of flying across the water at high speed and jumping on the waves so it almost feels like you're flying – is just indescribable!
